Arrival in Tehran

Our trip begins from Tehran. After arrival in the IKA airport and transfer to hotel and some rest, we will visit Sa’dabad Palace Complex late in the morning. Then head to Tehran’s mountainous area, Darband to have a light trekking, watch people’s everyday life and enjoy the fresh air.

Tehran – Totli Tamak

We should leave the hotel early in the morning to start experiencing Staying at local houses around Iran. As the first stop, we head to Totli Tamak (580 km), having our breakfast at one of the restaurants on Firouzkouh road and lunch in Behshahr. When arriving in Totli Tamak, we will be hosted by Turkmen people of Iran.

Totli Tamak

Today we are going to visit one of most eye-catching landscapes in Iran. So we spend daytime in Khaled-e Nabi Tomb and Shrine (75 km) enjoying the magnificent nature and return to our local house early at night.

Totli Tamak – Bastam

After visiting Gonbad-e Kavus brick-tower, which is an outstanding innovative example of Islamic architecture and visible from great distances in the surrounding lowlands we head to Bastam (215 km) and arrive at the hotel in the evening.

Bastam – Jandagh

Before leaving to the desert village of Jandagh (340 km) we visit Tomb of Bayazid Bastami, who played a major role in Sufism evolution. Then we go to Jandagh, passing through the most beautifully deserted road in Iran.


Today we will have enough time to discover more about Iran deserts. By going to Mesr village and enjoying local food right at the heart of the desert.

Jandagh – Yazd

Leave our local hosts after breakfast, we continue our way to Yazd, the center of Zoroastrian culture in Iran (300 km). On our way, we get familiar with traditional Persian residential architectural elements in Meibod. After having lunch, we arrive at the hotel in Yazd at night.


Today is our only day in the city of mud-brick architecture. To take the most out of it we will visit city’s Jame’ Mosque with its magnificent tiled entrance, and then enjoy walking in one of oldest towns on earth, feeling the rich history of Yazd’s old city. After lunchtime, we head to Dolat Abad Garden which has Iran’s loftiest wind catcher, with over 33 meters height. We finish today visits by going to the stunning three-story facade, Amirchakhmaq Complex.

Yazd – Abarkouh

We are going to visit and spend overnight in Abarkooh city (155 km) with its oldest cypress tree of Iran which is estimated to be over four millennia old.

Abarkouh – Shiraz

We leave the house after breakfast to continue our way to one of the most charming cities of Iran, Shiraz (290 km). Before getting to Shiraz we visit Pasargadae, the remnants of first Persian Garden and tomb of the most popular King of ancient Iran, Cyrus the Great. Then after lunch time as our second visit, we go to Persepolis, a glorious monumental ruin of ancient civilization of Persia with a total area of 125,000 square meters.


Our only day in Shiraz starts with visiting Karimkhan Citadel right at the center of the city and continues to Vakil historical Complex with its bath, bazaar, and Mosque. Enjoying our lunch time at the heart of the city, we will go to Narenjestan-e Qavam garden and Nasir Al-Molk Mosque then. With its mystic atmosphere at night, Hafez Tomb would become one of the everlasting scenes from Iran in our mind.

Shiraz – Isfahan

Today we leave Shiraz after breakfast to continue our way to one of the most beautiful cities of Iran, Isfahan (480 km). After having lunch on the way, we arrive in Isfahan in the afternoon while having enough time to spend the evening visiting two of city’s historic bridges, Siose pol and Khajou Bridge.


We are going to spend an unforgettable day in Isfahan.  Today we will visit Naqsh-e Jahan square (The Image of the World it means) with four highlighted sites located around it: Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfullah Mosque, Ali Qapu and Traditional Bazaar. After enjoying our lunchtime near one of World’s largest squares, we will head to Hasht Behesht and Chehelsotun Palace.

Isfahan – Kashan

Before leaving to Kashan (215 km) after lunch time, still, there is enough time to keep on visiting Isfahan by going to Vank Church and Menar Joban (the minaret that moves). We leave to Kashan then, where our hosts are expecting us to join them for dinner.



Today we will visit the ancient mysterious underground city of Noushabad and then go to Abyaneh Village (85 km). While in the village, we have a chance to get familiar with history, architecture, and anthropology of the area.

Kashan – Tehran

Today we should leave Kashan to head to Capital of Iran, Tehran (450 km) in the afternoon. Before that still, there is enough time to keep on visiting Kashan by going to some of its Historical Houses. Heading to Tehran after lunchtime, we get to our hotel at night.


It’s the last day of our trip. To understand the most about the history of Iran’s capital, we are visiting some highlights such as Golestan Palace Complex, Iran National Museum, and National Jewelry Museum. We will enjoy our farewell dinner in Iran in a traditional restaurant.

And finally, it’s time to bid farewell to Iran as we are transferred to the airport early in the morning for our return flight home.
